I am confused! Is PVHS 4A or 3A now? I heard you went 4A but still compete as 3A. Dave or someone, please clarify what is up with that?

PVHS is 4A. Our region (9) is split into two sub-regions: a 4A region with Snow Canyon, PV and Dixie and a 3A region with Cedar, Canyon View and Hurricane. In XC and Track, we'll compete as two separate regions with separate races for our region championships and race with our respective divisions at the state championship race. However, in other sports, all 6 teams of Region 9 compete in region play 'til playoffs come around when they split into their classifications. I hope that makes more sense to you, but if you still don't get it go to uhsaa.org and you can read up on it as much as you want...
